What we install

Two proven technologies. One cool house.

CoolHouse Co. specializes in exactly two things — whole house fans and exterior solar screens. We don't do everything. We do these two things better than anyone else.

01Whole House Fans

Pull cool evening air through the entire home in minutes.

A whole house fan is mounted in your ceiling and connects to your attic. When the outdoor temperature drops in the evening — and in most of California, it drops — you open a few windows, flip the switch, and the fan pulls cool outdoor air in while pushing hot indoor and attic air out through your roof vents.

In 10–15 minutes, your home drops to the outdoor temperature. Your AC never has to run in the evening. Your upstairs bedrooms are finally comfortable by the time you go to sleep.

  • Cools the whole home in 10–15 min
  • Uses 90% less energy than central AC
  • Runs at 35–45 dB on low
  • Lifespan: 15–25 years

02Exterior Solar Screens

Block the sun before it gets through your window.

Solar heat enters your home through the glass before your AC ever has a chance to deal with it. Exterior solar screens are installed on the outside of your windows — where they stop 80–90% of solar heat at the source, before it converts to indoor heat.

South- and west-facing rooms drop 8–15°F on hot afternoons. Furniture and flooring stop fading. You can still see clearly out the window during the day.

  • Blocks 80–90% of solar heat
  • Reduces room temp 8–15°F
  • Outward visibility maintained
  • Zero moving parts

The complete system

Stop heat from getting in. Remove heat that's already inside.

Most homes have both problems. Solar screens solve the first one — blocking heat at the window before it enters the living space. A whole house fan solves the second — flushing hot air out of the home and attic when the evening cools down.

Together, they're the most efficient cooling upgrade available for a California home. Homeowners who install both typically reduce their summer AC runtime by 50% or more — and feel it every night when they go to sleep.

Why homeowners choose us

Why homeowners choose CoolHouse Co..

01

We specialize.

We only install two products. That focus means we size them correctly, install them cleanly, and stand behind the work. We're not upselling you a new AC unit or signing you up for a maintenance plan.

02

Local teams, national standards.

Our installation teams are local, licensed, and background-checked. They know the home styles, permit requirements, and climate patterns in your market — and they operate to the same quality standards in every city we serve.

03

Transparent pricing.

You get a written quote before any work begins. No scope creep, no day-of surprises, no pressure to add services you didn't ask for.

04

Real warranties.

We install quality equipment — QuietCool, AirScape — and back our workmanship. Ask us about specific warranty terms for your installation during your assessment.

05

Proven results.

We'll show you real case studies, real bill comparisons, and real homeowner reviews from your neighborhood before you decide. We're comfortable letting the results do the talking.

San Jose, Morgan Hill, and the South Bay.

CoolHouse Co. serves homeowners across the San Jose and Morgan Hill areas, with select availability in surrounding South Bay communities.
